This week, take time to slow down and create space for reflection and connection. Move through the prayers and discussions intentionally. If it feels right, consider hosting a group dinner or hangout to build deeper community.

For each question, invite each member of the group to share. After someone shares, take a moment to pray for them and offer encouragement as a group.

READ PSALM 23 OUT LOUD AS A GROUP, two or three times. Use a different translation each time.

Spend 2 minutes in silent prayer. As you breathe deeply, silently ask God:

“What is keeping me from entering Your rest?”

It might be a situation, a doubt, a sin, or relational strife. Allow God to gently bring it to your mind. If your mind wanders, simply return to the question.

After this, invite someone to close in prayer.

Q1 – What did God reveal to you during the silent prayer? Is there anything currently preventing you from fully entering His rest? It could be stress, striving for control, sin, relational tension, or fear.

READ OUT LOUD AS A GROUP: Hebrews 3:14-4:3

Q2 – Are there areas where you're struggling to trust God's promises?

How might unbelief or self-reliance be keeping you from rest? ● What is God inviting you to surrender today?

Q3 – Hebrews 3:14 reminds us that we share in Christ if we "hold our confidence firmly to the end." How does belonging to Jesus bring you peace and rest?

CHALLENGE:

If God revealed something in prayer that you need to repent of, reflect on how He might be inviting you to confess that to someone.

1. Prayerfully consider: Who is a trusted friend, mentor, or leader you can share this with?

2. Plan a time to meet with that person, confess, and ask for prayer.

If you feel comfortable, share with the group next week how confession brought healing and drew you closer to God's rest.
