READ: Hebrews 10:14-25. Invite different group members to read the passage out loud, two or three times. Each time, use a different Bible translation.

Spend 2 minutes in silent prayer. As you sit with the passage, reflect on this: How have others spurred you on in your faith? And how have you done the same for them?

After two minutes, have someone close in prayer.

Q1 – Miles connected our sustained faith to our community. Why are you still here with God? Who helped your faith sustain?

Q2 – What role has the local church played in your life? How did this message challenge or encourage your involvement or commitment to the local church?

Q3 – Do you see other people’s encouragement to you as the key to you sustaining in your faith?

Q4 – In what specific ways do you need encouragement to persevere?

Q5 – Do you see your encouragement to others as the key to them sustaining in their faith?

Q6 – How can your life, not just your words, be a source of encouragement to others? What might need to grow or shift in you for that to happen?

Q7 – Is there any temptation in you to step away, either from your community group or your church? What’s underneath that desire? What would it look like to stay and help build a healthier, more unified church family?

CHALLENGE:

Encourage! Ask God to give you eyes to see people the way He does. Then speak it out. Name the good in someone else. Take time to vocalize encouragement and speak life into the people around you.
